À partir du 1er juillet 2015, tous les enfants possédant une carte de visite médicale valide peuvent bénéficier des soins gratuits de leur médecin généraliste. Cela vous donne droit à des soins médicaux gratuits pour les maladies aiguës et chroniques. Malheureusement, il existe de nombreux services que le HSE n'a pas couverts par ce programme. Quelques exemples sont énumérés ci-dessous. Ceux-ci entraîneront des frais.
Vaccinations de voyage, Blood test or investigations
Passeport / rapports d'identité / lettres, Rapports de crèche,
Rapports / lettres utilitaires, Assurance médicale / rapports,
Notes / certificats de fréquentation scolaire, Sports médicaux / rapports,
Lettres à l'appui de demandes de services au titre des lois sur la protection sociale (logement, vêtements).
Évaluations à 2 et 5 ans
Votre enfant a droit à un contrôle de la taille et du poids à l'âge de 2 et 5 ans. Ce contrôle sera effectué par notre infirmière de pratique.
Un séjour sans faille
En cas de diagnostic d'asthme chez un enfant âgé de plus de 2 ans, notre infirmière de pratique procédera à une première vérification de l'asthme et à un nouvel examen 3 mois plus tard. Un examen annuel est ensuite recommandé.
